ORIGIN:

In 1882 the establishment of standards for each of the five variants of the Swiss Hound. In 1909, those standards were revised and were reported disappearance Thurgoviského dog. January 22, 1933 he was appointed a single standard for all 4 variants of the Swiss Hound. The ancient version of Jurassic hound, type St. Hubert, meanwhile disappeared.

DESCRIPTION:

Swiss Hound is a hunting dog used for hunting hares, foxes and boars sometimes. He hunts in an independent manner, also on difficult terrain, wild chases and hunts very firmly and decisively.
Swiss hound is a dog of medium size, its body structure reveals great stamina and strength. He has a lean head and long muzzle with long ears that give the impression of refinement.
There are 4 versions of the Swiss Hound:

CHARACTER:

Swiss Hound is an independent, lively and passionate dog enthusiastic for hunting. It is sensitive, docile and very attached to his master. It needs a slight but consistent training.

CARE:

Swiss Hound needs plenty of regular exercise, long walks, regular load and adequate grooming. Otherwise it does not require any special care.
